We are seeking an experienced Head of Infrastructure Security to join our team. This role requires a strategic thinker with a background in large-scale enterprises within the financial services or investment banking sector. You will be responsible for developing and implementing an enterprise-wide infrastructure security strategy, managing a team of highly skilled engineers and architects, and ensuring the company’s security infrastructure aligns with business objectives and meets industry standards.
What you’ll do
- Develop and implement an enterprise-wide infrastructure security strategy that aligns with business objectives
- Oversee the security of Linux and Windows servers, ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information
- Manage data and database security, including the implementation of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) strategies
- Ensure the security of desktop, end user, and mobile devices, implementing policies and procedures to mitigate risks
- Oversee the security of Office365 and other SaaS platforms, ensuring data protection and compliance with relevant regulations
- Develop and implement application security strategies, ensuring the secure development and deployment of applications
- Lead incident response efforts, including the investigation of security breaches and the implementation of corrective actions
- Manage and guide a team of highly skilled engineers and architects, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure security strategies are understood and implemented across the organization
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security systems, protocols, and standards, and ensure the organization’s security infrastructure is updated accordingly
What’s required
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in infrastructure security in the financial services or investment banking sector
- Extensive experience with securing Linux and Windows server platforms, including Active Directory and LDAP
- Proven experience in data and database security, including the implementation of DLP strategies
- Experience in managing desktop, end user, and mobile device security
- Proficiency in securing Office365, Salesforce, Slack, Box and other SaaS platforms
- Experience with cloud security, including AWS, GCP, Azure, and O365
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
