With the Holiday upon us, I am filled with a need to be selfless!
So Tomorrow, I am going to put up a great blog for all of my followers who have children in the Generation Y age group, or who have friends in the Generation Y age group.
But today I am looking back on what I have been granted this year and it was a great year. I think the holidays makes us take an account of the year. For me, I am healthy, My loved ones are well and Happy…. I am starting to employ more and more people that have been out of the market. This year has been good to me.
So I think I should to give back some.
I have already became a part of the “Toys for Tots” programs at a couple of my client’s firms.
and I would like to make you all aware of another effort I am involved in.
“Ruff House Rescue” This is a great organization. When I was trying to find a home for 2 stray terriers I found abandoned, these people were very helpful. I have since added them on to my facebook page.
During this time of year, I think it is about helping people. It makes you feel more connected to give.
What I would suggest, is that you visit them on facebook or visit them on their site: http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/NY936.html and see these beautiful animals. I have two rescues already, and let me say, rescued dogs tend to behave better and are more loving…
From their Site
“…We Spay/Neuter all of our animals, they are vaccinated and we micro-chipped all our animals. Your new pet comes with an information packet containing vaccinations information, micro-chipping form and also recommended trainers, groomers, and pet sitting and any other information we can provide….. ”
So if you or a friend of yours was to take home a dog, you would be well ahead of the curve.
If getting a new dog into your home, isn’t a possibility for you and your family right now. Be one with the Holiday Spirit and post this organizations information to your firm’s intranet, Post Board, etc. To give more people the opportunity to share in the love of a new dog in their families life.
