We are seeking an experienced application development engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team. As an application development engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our internal applications, infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You will collaborate closely with Research, Trading, Portfolio Administration, Finance and Client Development functions to ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our systems. The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial team player who sets high expectations for him/herself and has a passion for discovering great businesses.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· 2-5 years of experience in application development/engineering and IT operations

· In-depth experience with the following is required:

· Proficient in enterprise level application development

· Skilled in both OLAP and OLTP DB systems (e.g., SQL Sever, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, BigQuery)

· Cloud architecture and platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)

· Knowledge of Linux and Windows server administration

· Container and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Airflow)

· Expertise in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, TravisCI, Github Actions)

· Strong understanding of networking, security, and system administration

· Hands-on experience with the following is a plus:

· Exposure or previous experience of finance/market data o Infrastructure-as-Code concepts and tools

· Contributions to the open-source community

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

· Track record of continuous learning

· Highest degree of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality

· Honors degree from a reputable university
