Cybersecurity Engineer

Design, build, and maintain a secure environment that optimally enables our business needs while reducing risk and ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory standards · Engineer and implement data security controls in support of a program build · Investigate environment to understand business needs and technical constraints · Document technical security control objective, design, implementation, and maintenance · Recommend iterative improvements to environment and processes · Deliver projects on time and within budget

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: · Bachelor’s degree in a technical subject (e.g., Computer Science or Information Technology); or equivalent professional experience

Experience Required:

· 7+ years of professional experience working directly with enterprise Cybersecurity teams; preferred

experience working with teams focused on meeting regulatory obligations in financial services sector.

· Record of direct responsibility for delivering cybersecurity controls to enable business processes.

· Professional experience creating automations (e.g., Powershell or python scripts) to facilitate

responsibilities.

· Professional experience with endpoint security solutions; preferred experience working with endpoint

privilege management solutions.

· Experience implementing and managing data security controls.

· Experience with Varonis and/or Microsoft Purview · Experience with Azure security controls and/or Azure Kubernetes (AKS) · Experience with email security preferred · Experience working with agile/scrum in an engineering environment
