You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance and manage our DevOps infrastructure across GCP (Google Cloud Platform), Azure, and Terraform, driving innovation and efficiency throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
· Infrastructure Development: Design, build, and enhance capabilities in our DevOps infrastructure, focusing on GCP, Azure, and Terraform.
· DevOps Practices: Develop and implement best practices, standards, and technologies to empower engineering teams and improve efficiency.
· Collaboration: Partner with software engineering and product teams to understand requirements, assess impacts, and deliver aligned solutions.
· Documentation: Maintain clear and concise documentation for all developed processes and infrastructure components.
· Developer Experience: Enhance the developer experience by promoting autonomy, standardization, and the adoption of best practices.
· DevOps Strategy: Act as a key advocate for the firm’s DevOps strategy, building relationships to drive innovation.
· Best Practices: Lead the adoption of DevOps and software development best practices, ensuring high standards across the organization.
· CI/CD Pipelines: Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines in various environments to improve the quality and speed of code deployments.
· Automation & Coding: Automate and optimize infrastructure and application deployments using scripting and coding languages such as Python, PowerShell, and Terraform.
Qualifications:.
· Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, and a solid understanding of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS in hybrid environments.
· Infrastructure & Development: Experience in cloud infrastructure or server-side development, with a fundamental understanding of containerization and Kubernetes.
· Networking & Storage: Familiarity with networking, storage, and database concepts.
· Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages like PowerShell and Python, with experience in tools such as Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
· CI/CD Expertise: Deep understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Octopus, Bamboo, Azure DevOps, Git Actions) and configuration management.
· Automation: Expertise in automation scripting, infrastructure as code (IaC), and immutable infrastructure using tools like Terraform.
· Monitoring & Observability: Willingness to learn and implement observability frameworks such as Logic Monitor, Azure App Insights, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch, and X-Ray.
· Interest in Finance: A strong interest in financial markets and processes is highly desirable.
· Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
· Soft Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
