Jfob Description:
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with a passion for automation and a deep understanding of the Cribl platform. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the automation processes and tools necessary to rebuild and optimize our Cribl platform infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the platform is scalable, reliable, and efficient.
Key Responsibilities:
- Automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
- Design and implement automation scripts and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to streamline deployment, configuration, and scaling of the Cribl platform.
- Utilize tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Platform Rebuild and Optimization:
- Lead the rebuilding efforts of the Cribl platform to enhance performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of platform components.
- Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and monitoring of the Cribl platform.
- Implement best practices for source control, versioning, and release management.
- Monitoring and Logging:
- Set up and configure monitoring and logging tools to ensure the Cribl platform is operating optimally.
- Implement proactive alerting and incident response mechanisms to quickly identify and resolve issues.
- Security and Compliance:
- Ensure that the Cribl platform adheres to industry security standards and compliance requirements.
- Implement security best practices for infrastructure and application deployment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a strong focus on automation and platform optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Cribl or similar data routing and management platforms.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes, including Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of data analytics and log management solutions.
- Certifications in DevOps, cloud platforms, or related areas.
