Full Stack Developer – People Operations

As a Full Stack Developer, you will work closely with a cross-functional team that is responsible for several full software development life cycle projects, from conception to deployment. We are looking for an individual who is comfortable working with both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks, and third-party libraries. You are passionate about building software for people and love to see non-coder colleagues experience the magic of automation. This role will have a huge impact on the future of automation and internal applications on the team, and the company as a whole.

Responsibilities

Gather requirements from a variety of senior technical and non-technical users
Implement user-side and server-side code for our People Platform and data visualization tools
Collaborate with the People Ops team to create simple, easy-to-use front end solutions
Help develop and manage our people database
Write custom integrations for our third-party people tools
Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
Create security, permissioning, and data protection settings.
Write technical documentation

Profile

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
2+ years of full stack software development experience
Strong technical skills in front-end frameworks (React preferred) and corresponding back-end technologies (Python preferred)
Database experience is a must (we use Postgres)
Highly ethical and accustomed to managing highly confidential information
Excellent communication, both verbal and written, is a must
You enjoy independent work, but value collaboration with team members
You can analyze and fix problems quickly
Can look at code, figure out how it works, and how to make it better
Effectively describe software designs at a high level (the abstract interface), low level (step-by-step algorithm), or anywhere in between
You really like to work with people who challenge you and make you better at what you do
Fluency in a *nix environment.
