What You’ll Do:
- Architect, Implement, and Automate Global Storage Solutions—SAN, NAS, object storage, and backups.
- Own Performance, Capacity, and Reliability of Storage and Fabric systems across a hybrid enterprise.
- Deploy and Manage replication, snapshots, cloning, and DR automation like a boss.
- Partner with network, DB, and app teams to align storage to real business needs.
- Automate data protection, compliance, and reporting—because manual is so last decade.
- Audit and tune storage environments for speed, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Serve as tier-3 hero for critical incidents and mentor the team on best practices.
What We’re Looking For:
- 10+ years enterprise storage engineering & ops experience in high-performance environments.
- Mastery of Dell EMC, NetApp, Pure Storage, Hitachi, and hybrid architectures.
- Deep knowledge of iSCSI, NFS, SMB/CIFS, Fibre Channel, and object storage (S3, Swift).
- Strong database storage & low-latency optimization skills.
- Automation-first mindset (PowerShell, Python, Ansible, or similar).
- Expertise in backup/recovery (Rubrik, Veeam) and cloud storage (AWS S3/EBS, Azure Blob, GCP).
- Hands-on debugging in Linux & Windows with a love for performance metrics (IOPS, latency, throughput).
- Security-first approach, with knowledge of data encryption and compliance standards.
