PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead, implement and maintain a comprehensive strategy for secure, scalable, high availability and cost-effective on-premise and cloud, global technology infrastructure

Develop infrastructure & operations capabilities to support on-premise to cloud infrastructure for core services and applications

Implement 24×7 infrastructure and end user support across all our office locations

Define and monitor operational metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) while benchmarking where possible against the market

Lead a continuous improvement mindset within the Technology Core Infrastructure organization related to operational metrics and KPIs

Increase adoption of incident/problem management, capacity management and availability management in partnership with key stakeholders.

Lead the development and evolution of technology standards to achieve business objectives

Partner very closely with the Information Security team to deliver a highly secure infrastructure

Establish the systems and processes to ensure business continuity in the event of natural disaster, system failures and other events which could disrupt business

Support the integration of acquisitions by leveraging a repeatable scalable model

Build and manage financial plans and budgets (CAPEX and OPEX)

Manage vendor relationships and drive vendor negotiations

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related Technology discipline required

Experience Required:

• 7+ years of infrastructure team leadership experience
• 10+ years of relevant technical experience working in Infrastructure and operations preferably in the investment management industry
• Strong experience designing and architecting high availability On-prem datacenter, cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred), and disaster recovery infrastructure to meet 5 nines across core services related to Storage, Compute, Network, Internet, Email, File servers
• Strong engineering background and experience managing datacenter server hardware with high availability, Cisco networking, Storage vendors (Netapp preferred), VMWare, PaloAlto firewall infrastructure
• Experience with transformation to public cloud infrastructure, software defined networking, and Infrastructure as a Service models
• Demonstrated experience leading transition of support and operations to a globally distributed team including offshore captive centers
• Experience with security risk management and current security technologies
• Proven experience with modern technology service delivery frameworks including Agile, DevOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous deployment

• Strong people leadership capabilities including guiding and coaching team members, developing talent, and ensuring accountability for project and service level commitments • Outstanding communication (written and verbal), presentation, documentation, and interpersonal skills
• Large-scale project leadership and delivery using modern project management methodologies.
• A continuous improvement mindset with demonstrated ability to drive programs that reduce cost, increase agility and have measurable key performance indicators and metrics.
• Solid people leadership capabilities including guiding and coaching team members when required, developing talent, and ensuring accountability for project and service level commitments
