The IT Operations Manager will manage a team that supports the company’s critical technology infrastructure, delivering a range of products and services. Members of the team are constantly learning and seeking new ways to evolve and improve our mission critical infrastructure. This team collaborates with all areas of the business to provide high quality service delivery and exceptional project management in the most cost-effective manner.

Manage and provide direction, guidance, and training to the desktop support team. Support the team through as-needed hands-on troubleshooting of technical difficulties in a fast-paced environment.
Expand the desktop support team’s Tier 1 and 2 production trading support capabilities.
Identify needs on the team and build/hire new members accordingly.
Utilize Jira software to coordinate project work and deployments and create workflows to support end users making requests to the entire IT team. Process all incoming requests and delegate tasks to the appropriate team members.
Manage installation and maintenance of office IT infrastructure, include workstations, servers, switches, cabling, AV equipment, phone systems, and other electronic infrastructure. Coordinate new office buildouts and migrations.
Contribute to the firm’s office IT technology initiatives, including selection and deployment of next-generation platforms for workstations, communication systems, security requirements, and other productivity tools
Manage IT vendor relationships and negotiations
Manage and maintain IT asset inventory and software licensing, and work with team to ensure that systems and software are accurately recorded, tracked, and retired to 100% of accountability standards


5-7 years of relevant IT experience
At least 3 years of experience managing technical support teams
Impeccable attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects under a variety of conditions and constraints
Excellent ability to conceptualize long-term business goals and develop orderly processes to accomplish those goals

Technical Skills:

Workstation hardware administration
Windows OS administration
Windows domain management (AD, DC, DNS, DHCP)
Windows Exchange Server, Office365 management
Familiar with Linux as a user. Experience with Linux administration a plus.
Basic scripting skills (e.g. Powershell, SQL, Bash, Python, Perl, etc.)
Basic understanding of networks and network administration
Solid understanding of information security, disaster recovery, and business continuity
Experience with managing phone systems, Cisco, cloud-based, or other
Experience with Data Center work: rack and stack, cabling, and troubleshooting
