Lead Infrastructure Engineer – Distributed Systems

This is your chance to be at the heart of innovation. We’re looking for a dynamic, multi-disciplinary Software Engineer with expertise in distributed systems, networking, authentication, and infrastructure. In this role, you’ll help build and optimize the core systems that power our high-performance SaaS platform—supporting global clients and fueling mission-critical applications.

What You’ll Do:

✅ Own the Distributed Systems Ecosystem driving our API-first SaaS Platform
✅ Design and build next-generation infrastructure tools and applications to elevate system performance and efficiency
✅ Take charge of our high-availability, high-performance infrastructure across Linux, AWS, Kubernetes, and more
✅ Innovate and optimize critical networking, authentication, and security frameworks that keep our clients up and running

What We’re Looking For:

🔹 5+ years of hands-on infrastructure experience—or a proven track record of owning and delivering mission-critical systems
🔹 Strong expertise in Linux, Kubernetes, DNS, Kerberos, AWS, and more
🔹 Advanced Python skills, with the ability (and excitement) to work in Java, Go, or Bash when needed
🔹 Deep knowledge of HTTP, load balancing, network protocols, authentication/authorization (SAML, Kerberos, OAuth, etc.)
🔹 A problem-solver’s mindset, with a passion for building resilient, high-performance systems
🔹 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field

Financial firms generate millions of API calls daily.

This role is responsible for managing that entire ecosystem—

how customer requests move through the front end, flow into our Kubernetes infrastructure, and return.

Expertise in large-scale API systems and load balancing is essential.

U.S.-based SME to take Ownership.

Currently, the system is managed by a team in India, and resolving issues often requires waking someone up.

This person will Lead Improvements, Enhance Reliability, and Take Full Control.

Strong knowledge of networking, HTTP, and load balancing is crucial.

Customers frequently report API failures, and tracking down the Root cause is a Complex Process.

• This role will simplify troubleshooting and enhance visibility.
• The system is mission-critical—we need someone who thrives under pressure and understands the downstream impact.

On-call duties align with the rest of the team, but this role will also develop tools to make on-call support more efficient for everyone.

Compensation: $210,000 – $280,000 + BONUS & (Total) about 500K
