Responsibilities:
- Design, install, configure, and maintain Linux-based systems and servers.
- Provision, manage, and optimize storage solutions, including SAN, NAS, and cloud storage.
- Implement and manage virtualization and containerization solutions.
- Perform system monitoring to verify the integrity and availability of hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation regarding system configuration and operation.
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes.
- Conduct research on emerging technologies in support of systems development efforts, and recommend technologies that will increase cost effectiveness and systems flexibility.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience with Linux server environments, including experience with storage provisioning.
- Knowledge of SAN, NAS, and cloud storage technologies.
- Familiarity with virtualization and containerization technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex system issues.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
