Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves taking ownership of critical and complex systems, as well as providing mentorship and guidance to the junior staff.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in multiple disciplines and have experience with Identity Access Management, Windows Engineering, and cyber security.

Responsibilities:

· Analyze and comprehend system requirements, including functionality, performance, and security needs.

· Have an automation first mindset towards systems management and deployment reducing the operational burden of support teams.

· Provide leadership and mentorship to engineering team members, ensuring adherence to technical standards in system design and fostering professional growth.

· Provide comprehensive support for production systems spanning various disciplines such as storage, Linux, Windows and virtualization, while also serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in select areas.

· Manage, maintain, and expand our IAM system One Identity.

· Provide product ownership for our Azure Active Directory and Cloud Identity Systems

· Assume Architectural ownership of our Windows environment.

· Proactively identify potential system issues and risks, leading the development of contingency plans for risk mitigation.

· Develop and maintain wide-ranging system documentation, including technical specifications.

· Manage multi-engineer, stakeholder-involved projects, overseeing project meetings, progress reporting in Jira, and development of project timelines.

· Manage stakeholder expectations and relationships.

· Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and best practices in system engineering, sharing knowledge and insights with the team.

· Ability to design, implement, and manage Cloud IAM solutions to ensure secure access control and identity management in cloud environments.

· Develop strategies and solutions for remote access and Single Sign-On (SSO) mechanisms to streamline user authentication and enhance security.

· Implement and maintain robust secrets management practices to securely store, access, and distribute sensitive information such as passwords, API keys, and encryption keys.

· Establish and enforce access management policies and procedures to govern user permissions and privileges across systems and applications.

· Evaluate, assess, and mitigate governance and risk factors associated with system operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

· Foster developer engagement by promoting security best practices and providing guidance on secure coding techniques and methodologies.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in system engineering, with a focus on Identity Access Management Windows Engineering and Cybersecurity.

· Possess strong knowledge of IAM technologies and solutions, including Cloud IAM, SSO, and secrets management.

· Experience in cybersecurity, including threat analysis, vulnerability assessment, and incident response.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively.

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
