Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and optimize platform services, including servers, storage, and cloud solutions.
- Lead cross-functional projects in partnership with internal and external teams.
- Provide expert-level support to ensure seamless performance and uptime.
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential operational risks.
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of robust experience in Linux environments (RHEL/Rocky/CentOS/OEL), focusing on system operations, engineering, and performance optimization.
- Expertise in tuning systems for low-latency applications, including memory, CPU, and network optimization.
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols (TCP, UDP, broadcast, multicast) and optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with low-latency network interfaces and kernel bypass technologies (e.g., Solarflare with onload).
- Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Rust, or Bash.
- Excellent organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills with a strategic approach.
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Bachelorโs degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in kernel development and customization.
- Understanding of trade flow analysis and exchange protocols (e.g., FIX, BOE, OUCH/ITCH, PILLAR, SBE, OMEX).
- Proficiency with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Terraform.
- Familiarity with various network switch vendors and architectures.
- Exposure to FPGA-based applications and L1 network design.
