Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and optimize platform services, including servers, storage, and cloud solutions.
  • Lead cross-functional projects in partnership with internal and external teams.
  • Provide expert-level support to ensure seamless performance and uptime.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate potential operational risks.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of robust experience in Linux environments (RHEL/Rocky/CentOS/OEL), focusing on system operations, engineering, and performance optimization.
  • Expertise in tuning systems for low-latency applications, including memory, CPU, and network optimization.
  • In-depth knowledge of network protocols (TCP, UDP, broadcast, multicast) and optimization techniques.
  • Familiarity with low-latency network interfaces and kernel bypass technologies (e.g., Solarflare with onload).
  • Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Rust, or Bash.
  • Excellent organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills with a strategic approach.
  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in kernel development and customization.
  • Understanding of trade flow analysis and exchange protocols (e.g., FIX, BOE, OUCH/ITCH, PILLAR, SBE, OMEX).
  • Proficiency with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Terraform.
  • Familiarity with various network switch vendors and architectures.
  • Exposure to FPGA-based applications and L1 network design.
