Your Expertise in:
- 8+ years of experience with Linux (RHEL/Rocky/CentOS/OEL), focusing on Operations, Systems Engineering, and Systems Performance.
- System tuning for Low-latency applications, including memory, CPU, and Network Optimizations.
- Comprehensive understanding of Network Protocols (TCP, UDP, Broadcast, Multicast) and Optimal Tuning Practices.
- Familiarity with Low-Latency Network interfaces and Kernel bypass Technologies, particularly Solarflare with onload.
- Strong grasp of Physical Server Architecture, including differences between CPU chipsets (Intel/AMD/ARM).
- Proficiency in Scripting and Automation using Python, Rust, or Bash.
Your Qualifications: 8 years of Linux mastery, Coupled with a Deep Understanding of System Performance Optimization and Network Protocol Tuning.
Automate and Streamline processes using Python, Rust, or Bash sets you apart as a Leader in Efficiency and Innovation.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Kernel development, Enabling you to modify stock kernels to meet Specific Performance Requirements.
- Knowledge of trade flow analysis protocols (FIX, BOE, OUCH/ITCH, PILLAR, SBE, OMEX), enhancing your ability to integrate and optimize financial trading systems.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, and Terraform, ensuring seamless deployment and management of infrastructure.
- Exposure to diverse network switch vendors and architectures, providing versatility in network design and optimization.
- Background in FPGA-based applications and L1 network design, contributing to your holistic understanding of hardware-accelerated computing solutions.
