About the Role

The Security Service Group (SSG) at is looking to hire a Senior Security Engineer to work closely with Product Groups, IT, Technical Product Managers and Leadership on operationalizing and enforcing security processes and procedures. In this role, you will be contributing to the design of security tools and processes across, implementation and enforcement of those processes and measuring adoption, effectiveness and success of these tools and processes. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand and execute the current security tools and processes in place for security and regulatory requirements in IAM, IT Asset Management, Data Security and other security domains.
• Design and implement enforcement mechanisms and measure success of those tools and processes.
• Analyze and identify security risks in applications, roles, tools and processes and contribute to their improvement.
• Develop automation to increase security process adoption and enforcement.
• Work closely with product groups, IT and infrastructure teams to automate enforcement, identify gaps and measure success of the security processes and tools.
• Interface with internal and external audits to provide reports, information and narrative on security process adoption and enforcement.

Qualifications:

• A degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience working in Cyber Security in IAM, IT Asset Management, data security, AppSec, ProdSec or other security domains.
• Experience in developing automation
• Expertise in Web and Network Security
• Experience in at least one of: Go, Ruby or Python.
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks concurrently.
