We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Senior Desktop Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have between 6 and 15 years of experience in the IT industry, demonstrating a track record of delivering innovative technology solutions and client-focused services to drive business transformation.

Responsibilities:

· Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of infrastructure components, including but not limited to GPO, Ivanti Appsense, SCCM, Citrix environment, and OneDrive migration efforts.

· Provide expert-level support for various projects and implementations, ensuring the adoption of DevOps methodology for application updates.

· Act as a change agent by actively engaging with key stakeholders to monitor platform health and mitigate identified problems.

· Drive transparency and clear communication channels across all levels of the organization.

· Ensure information security measures are implemented and maintained effectively.

DAILEY TASKS may consist of:

• Administer with the global desktop engineering team to implement global stands in GPO, Ivanti Appsense, and SCCM image.

• Experience administering Market Data applications.

• Experience administering Excel,

• Maintain Ivanti Appsense server and configuration for the America’s region

• Maintain current on prem Citrix environment (Delivery controllers, and storefronts). Responsibilities include, but not limited to planned upgrades, server maintenance, troubleshooting. • Lead in the plan and coordination of regional OneDrive migration effort

• Aid in effort of migrating from storage to DFS.

• Aid in moving office users from physical computers to Citrix persistent desktops.

• Testing and troubleshooting autopilot builds on new computers.

• Validating regional image, monitor system performance utilizing Citrix Analytics, managing Delivery group and machine catalog utilizing Citrix Daas.

• Provide level 2 & 3 support to end user support analysis.

• Delivered high-level 7×24 supports regarding issues with business applications, equipment hardware, software and network/internet connectivity.

• Scripted software installation using Altiris, and software repackaging tools such as ORCA & App Deploy, batch scripting, PowerShell scripting.

• Created custom reports of software coverage & hardware inventory using a combination of SQL query & PowerShell scripting.

• Developed and edited Citrix VDI environment settings using Ivanti AppSense. Recreated GPOs from the physical environment in the virtual, and securing the VDI desktop

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience required.

• Extensive experience in Desktop system administration.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.

• Strong Proficiency in PowerShell scripting, SCCM, Ivanti Appsense, Citrix, and other relevant technologies.

• Experience in cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure( experience needed) and Microsoft Intune is a plus.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, Citrix certifications) preferred.
