Senior Low-latency Network Engineer – High-Performance Infrastructure

Our team is on the lookout for a Senior Network Engineer who thrives in fast-paced, mission-critical environments. This role offers the opportunity to Build and Optimize a vast, Low-Latency Infrastructure spanning over 100 locations across 25+ countries.
As a Key Player from Network Architecture and Optimization to Hands-on troubleshooting and Capacity Planning. You’ll collaborate with elite engineers to drive performance improvements and ensure seamless connectivity in an environment that never sleeps. What You’ll Do:
Architect, Build, and maintain a High-Speed Global Network that supports Real-Time Trading and Data Research.
Lead Product Selection, Configuration, and Optimization of Network devices to meet Ultra-Low-latency and High-Availability demands.
Collaborate with trading and infrastructure teams to design and implement solutions that enhance performance and reliability.
Utilize packet analysis tools (Wireshark, tcpdump), automation frameworks (Ansible, Salt), and scripting (Python, GitHub, Prometheus, Grafana) to improve efficiency and observability.
Contribute to the long-term strategy of network expansion, scaling, and security across on-prem and cloud-based environments.
Design and implement high-speed, resilient network topologies for maximum uptime and minimal jitter.
Fine-tune routing, switching, and transport layers to reduce propagation and serialization delays.
Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware from Arista, Cisco, and other leading vendors.
Optimize multicast market data distribution and traffic engineering strategies for real-time applications.
Leverage automation (Ansible, Salt) and scripting (Python) to enhance operational efficiency.
Utilize deep packet analysis (Wireshark, tcpdump) to diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks.
Implement advanced monitoring and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, and custom telemetry solutions.
Collaborate with trading, systems, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless network performance across all environments.
Drive network expansion, capacity planning, and security initiatives for both on-prem and cloud-based architectures.
Technical Qualifications:
5-10 years of hands-on experience managing and optimizing large-scale, high-performance networks.
Expertise in Ultra-Low-Latency Networking for High-Frequency or Data-Intensive environments.
Deep understanding of L2/L3 protocols including BGP, OSPF, PIM, IGMP, and multicast traffic engineering.
Proficiency in network hardware from Arista, Cisco, and familiarity with optical and microwave transmission (Adva, Ciena).
Strong debugging skills with packet analysis tools (tcpdump, Wireshark) and traffic flow analysis.
Knowledge of datacenter power, cooling, and fiber-optic transmission standards for high-density networking.
Experience securing network perimeters with firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet) and VPN/NAT configurations.
Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (Ansible, Salt) and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
Experience with cloud networking in AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus.
