Let’s get Straight to it.
We’re partnered with a Premier Algorithmic Trading organization operating at Global Scale —
engineering the Ultra-High-Performance Networks that Power Real-time Trading and Research Platforms across more than 25 countries and 100+ locations.
These environments don’t tolerate Latency, instability, or guesswork — they demand precision, depth, and ownership.
We’re looking for a Senior Network Engineer who thrives where performance matters and complexity is real.
This role sits at the intersection of Architecture, Engineering, and operations —
working alongside Elite systems and Trading teams to design, deploy, and continuously refine the global communications backbone supporting latency-sensitive workloads.
You’ll influence technology selection, routing strategy, troubleshooting, and long-term network direction — with direct impact on production outcomes.
It’s a build-and-solve environment for engineers who want their work to matter.
What You’ll Work On
- Designing and Operating Large-Scale, High-Capacity Global Network Environments
- Routing Strategy and Troubleshooting across L2/L3 protocols (BGP, OSPF, PIM, IGMP)
- Managing High-Performance Switching platforms (Arista, Cisco)
- Supporting Multicast Market Data distribution and WAN connectivity
- Packet-level diagnostics using tcpdump, Wireshark, and related tools
- Collaborating with Trading and Infrastructure teams to Optimize Performance
- Capacity planning and lifecycle network project delivery
- Evaluating fiber, optics, and connectivity solutions
- Automation and observability tooling integration (Ansible, Python, Prometheus, etc.)
What You Bring
- 5–10+ years designing and operating complex network environments
- Strong foundation in low-latency or performance-sensitive systems (trading experience a plus)
- Deep understanding of routing protocols and network architecture
- Experience with Linux/Unix networking stack
- Hands-on troubleshooting mindset — comfortable solving issues directly
- Ability to communicate clearly and document technical decisions
- Exposure to microwave/optical transport, cloud networking, or network automation is valuable
