Description

The ServiceNow integration specialist will have a thorough understanding of the ServiceNow platform and its offerings, and a clear vision of how to integrate it with other tools. A successful candidate will be able to work with the platform architect and the rest of the development team to enable data and workflow automation using bespoke integration frameworks, as well as ServiceNow’s offerings.

Key Responsibilities

· Maintain and extend our current integration framework, which is a bespoke application built around RESTful web services

· Review existing integrations for opportunities for improvement

· Build framework for monitoring existing integrations

· Leverage SN OOB functionality when appropriate

· Configure and customize the Service Now platform to improve maintainability

· Administer ServiceNow platform, including cloning, upgrades, and MID server maintenance

Qualifications

· At least 6 years of experience on the ServiceNow platform

· ServiceNow certification(s) strongly preferred

· Hands-on experience with all aspects of the platform, include client-side scripts, server-side scripts, security rules, email notifications, etc.

· Clear understanding of ITIL concepts

· Experience implementing CMDB processes

· Thorough knowledge and understanding of the Glide API, HTML, CSS, Ajax, JavaScript, JSON

· Experience integrating ServiceNow with other systems over REST web services

· Experience with integration authentication mechanisms such as basic auth and OAuth

· Experience with Postman

· Strong knowledge of SQL Server
