If you have an interest in:
· Acting as an escalation point for operations engineers handling alerts
· Deep troubleshooting into infrastructure issues across our server, storage, network, and databases
· Building tooling and automation to manage and monitor infrastructure services and applications
· Improving reliability, availability and performance of infrastructure and infrastructure-related applications
· Deploying and operating services for all our firm, including managing performance and availability
· Escalating, coordinating, and managing incident response for critical firm-wide issues
· Providing excellent customer service experiences for all end users, traders and senior leadership
· Engaging in technical collaboration with other Infrastructure groups and Business IT teams as appropriate
If you have proven skills in:
· A solid understanding of operating systems and infrastructure including Windows and Linux, networks, storage, databases, and containers
· Deep knowledge into at least two of the above
· Strong programming skills in Python or Go
· Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
· Building strong partnership with business partners
· Demonstrated the ability to effectively recognize and resolve technical issues and adapt quickly to a new and changing technical environment.
· Ability to follow clear instructions but think on your feet when necessary
· A bachelor’s degree (BS or BA) in Computer Science or a related field
