As a Systems Engineer at our firm, you will be tasked with managing our fleet of Linux x86 servers and networking equipment to ensure their continuous work at the highest levels of performance and stability. This role is highly visible within the organization as you will have the opportunity to work across the business to help build innovative tech solutions.

If you possess the following, we would love to explore what is available for you on our team:

Earned or will earn a Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields.
At least 3 years of experience in a low-latency trading environment
Excellent understanding of the Linux ecosystem and expertise in installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Linux servers.
Expertise in tuning Linux x86 servers for low latency, including advanced optimization techniques such as tickless kernels, IRQ affinity, and core isolation.
Experience with management of clock synchronization services based on NTP and PTP.
Experience with system configuration management and automation tools such as Ansible and Puppet.
A strong understanding of networking concepts and technologies such as Ethernet, IP, and UDP multicast.
Understanding of how and where to kill snowflakes
Experience managing large-scale computing clusters would be a strong plus
Experience managing high-performance distributed storage systems using technologies such as NFS or CephFS would be a strong plus.
