Responsibilities
• Product ownership for cross-cutting components of the trading platform and related initiatives that provide a
reduction in systems complexity and a lever for business growth
• Define requirements and sign-off on product design and architecture to ensure it meets the needs of our
trading strategies and production environment
• Own the build out, delivery, and implementation of these products across trading, technology and other
stakeholders
• Define product strategy, collate feedback, manage the prioritization of requests, and deliver future
enhancements
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our trading system as it evolves and grows over time, and
help manage the development of the platform in line with our core design principles, industry standards and
market structure
• Own relationships with leaders across various trading teams to best understand their needs, and represent
them accurately in conversations with business and technology leaders
• Communicate effectively and manage stakeholders to arbitrate competing requirements, develop firmoptimal solutions and forge compromise on product design and implementation
Qualifications
• 4+ years experience in electronic trading, preferably in a product or engineering role
• Proficiency in trading system design, trading life cycle and key architectural concepts
• Working knowledge of SQL, Linux and python required
• Logical thinker with extreme attention to detail, analytical rigor, and desire to work in a fast-paced trading
environment
• Desire for constant improvement – ability to quickly process feedback and iterate to get better every day
• Demonstrated hustle and drive with a can-do attitude to push through complicated problems and reach
desired outcomes
• Ability to communicate between stakeholders at different levels of abstraction and clearly explain different
concepts as it pertains to technology, engineering, and trading
• Naturally curious and entrepreneurial minded self-starter, not afraid to challenge the status-quo
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor’s degree from a top university; STEM major or demonstrated engineering interest preferred
