Our Automated Trading team is responsible for delivering cutting-edge technology solutions to support our growing trading business. We are embarking on a new high-profile initiative and are looking for a talented UI Developer to join our team and make a significant impact.

Role Overview: As a UI Developer, you will play a key role in developing internal single-page applications with a strong focus on data visualization through dashboards, grids, and charts. You will work closely with the core Fixed Income Trading team and contribute to building a new trading system that will support multiple trading desks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality front-end components using TypeScript and React for internal single-page applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement user interfaces with a focus on data visualization, including grids and charts.
  • Work on back-end integration, leveraging C# or other back-end technologies, to support the front-end development and ensure smooth data flow.
  • Support the core Fixed Income Trading business and assist in building out new trading systems for other desks within TD Securities.
  • Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications across various platforms and devices.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including designing, testing, debugging, and deploying new features.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Expertise in TypeScript and React is essential.
  • Familiarity with back-end technologies, with C# experience being a plus, though not required (candidates should be open to learning C# as they go).
  • Experience working with single-page applications, particularly those involving data visualization, such as grids and charts.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other developers, designers, and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in developing trading or financial applications is a plus, but not required. Candidates with experience visualizing data sets in any industry are welcome.
  • Knowledge of back-end development concepts and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Familiarity with WinForms or WPF is not relevant for this role, as we are specifically looking for front-end React developers.
