We are seeking an experienced Windows Systems Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, implementing, and managing Windows infrastructures, with a focus on automation, security best practices, and operational excellence. This role involves maintaining critical systems, ensuring optimal performance, and supporting enterprise-level technology solutions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage robust Windows Server environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Administer and maintain enterprise-level Active Directory environments, including Group Policy, DNS, and domain trust relationships.
- Manage, configure, and troubleshoot virtualization infrastructure using VMware and other tools.
- Oversee storage solutions, leveraging expertise in SAN storage technologies such as NetApp, EMC VNX, Pure Storage, and Nimble Arrays.
- Ensure data protection and resiliency using backup and replication technologies like Zerto.
- Create, update, and maintain scripts using PowerShell to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud environments.
- Implement and maintain security controls, including tools such as BitLocker, LAPS, and Illumio, to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize systems architecture for scalability and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues related to Windows systems, virtualization, storage, and networking.
- Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing and compliance purposes.
