Windows Systems Engineer

Focus of Role – windows Admin with Storage Admin ( out of below, must have: In-Tune, Azure, AD, Auto-Pilot)

About Role:

Looking for a Systems Engineer who is responsible for the deployment of the enterprise’s overall systems in Azure and cloud.

Azure

– Manage and administer the Microsoft Azure cloud environment, including provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, policy governance and security

– Manage security and access controls of cloud-based solutions

– Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) leveraging cloud native tooling to ensure automated and consistent platform deployments

– Develop and implement policy driven data protection best practices to ensure cloud solutions are protected from data loss

– Support cloud adoption of applications as they are being transformed and/or modernized

– Ensure all infrastructure components meet proper performance and capacity standards

Office 365

– Ensuring the operational health of the O365 Suite Applications including security, availability, performance, interoperability, and reliability

– Troubleshoot various Office 365 issues including connectivity and mobility

– Conduct routine monitoring and analysis to include Audit Log Reports evaluation, system and storage utilization reports, site and system usage, growth reports, and manage site collection quota settings

– Administer and support Office 365 and MS Exchange policies

– Administer and support system backup and disaster recovery processes

– Maintain inventory of equipment and software licenses

– Document new processes, create guidelines for new solutions, update infrastructure documentation

Windows

– Assessing the stability, security, and scalability of installed Windows systems

– Installing or upgrading Windows systems and servers

– Providing technical support for staff and back-end system users

– Troubleshooting system and server errors

– Reviewing system error logs and user-reported errors

– Managing user access

– Monitoring system performance

Desktop/Laptop Support Engineer/Specialist

– Communicating electronically (and in-person) with desktop users experiencing technical difficulties by troubleshooting and documenting problems

– Reproducing, diagnosing, and analyzing problems reported by end-users, in turn formulating solutions to resolve the issue at hand

– Providing training and advice to users, both in response to identified difficulties and to share tips for optimal computer operation

– Setting up and deploying IT equipment for new employees

– Training users in software and operating systems

– Assessing recurring issues to create automated processes where possible

Microsoft Entra ID Engineer

– SME for Entra ID(Azure Active Directory) and Intune

– implementation, operation, and administration of the organization’s identity and access management program, including federation, access management, authentication, access control, and service provisioning

– Hands-on experience delivering Azure Single Sign-On integrations

– Real-world experience helping to manage and maintain AD, GPO, ADSS, ADCS, DNS, DHCP, EntraID, AAD Connect, RBAC, Intune, Conditional Access and Microsoft Security Stack

– Experience with automating various Entra ID(Azure Active Directory) tasks and configurations plus generating custom reports via PowerShell / Azure CLI

– Troubleshoot and resolve Entra ID(Azure Active Directory) related issues and incidents

Azure Security

– Have a deep technical understanding of cloud security architectures, solutions/technologies including Microsoft M365 Defender, Defender for Cloud, Defender Antivirus, Defender Application Guard, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Identity and Sentinel

– Enhance team capabilities for extended detection and response (XDR), zero trust and cloud security

– Designing, implementing, and maintaining security controls with an Azure/M365 environment

– Remediate events from Microsoft 365 security and compliance dashboards

– Ensure the environment security posture aligns to documented security procedures, guidelines, training material and best practices or architectural principles

Intune

– User Management

Azure Virtual Desktop

– Complete understanding of the Microsoft Remote Desktop Services roles and administration

– Installing and configuring Microsoft AVD technologies including host pools AVD images and scaling

– Manage Azure Active Directory for Azure Virtual Desktop-related systems

– Manage and support AVD Clusters HA systems

– Analyze system performance indicators and recommend improvement actions for AVD-based production configuration

– Help in the organization and management of the business applications that is installed on Azure VD Improve and adjust Azure VD

ODSP Engineer (OneDrive & SharePoint)

– Administer cloud-based Microsoft 365 platform, including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Forms, Power Platform etc

– Provide out of the box customizations including creating lists, libraries, content types, webparts, pages, lookup columns, workflows etc

– Automate day to day repeat operational activities for example using PowerShell/ API provision SharePoint Online sites, provide reporting etc

– Install and maintain apps, feature, web part, template or solutions including 3rd party software or applications

– Extending SharePoint functionality with forms, web parts, and application technologies

– Reviewing website interface and software stability

– Assist in troubleshooting issues involving syncing, internal/external permissions, MS Teams, site & document library access

RMM Engineer (Kaseya, Lookout for Work, Malwarebytes, etc.)

– Knowledge in Kaseya VSA RMM

– Monitoring & maintaining global endpoints including Microsoft Windows and Apple iOS

– Comfortable in managing and maintaining anti-malware / ransomware solutions using Malwarebytes & Kaseya Ransomware Detection

– Knowledgeable in PowerShell scripting for automation and deployment of policies and configurations

– Knowledgeable in Office 365 Backup solution SPANNING or like solution
